DJ Joe Doppio has had a love for music since childhood.At the age of 5 , Joe used to play with his parents Hi Fi home stereo system and the Turntable was what captured him by the time he was 14 years old, he realized that his interest in Djing was genuine. legendary artists such as earth Wind and fire influenced the growth and sense of direction within Joe’s record collection. Today his collection includes more than 23,000 records and features the best in Acid Jazz, Funk, R&B Hip Hop,Deep House , Garage and Soulful House. In 1979, Joe secured his first residency as a D J at a venue called K13 located between Naples and Rome,Italy . Over the past 25 years , his DJ career has enabled him to play at many venues throughout Europe including clubs and events in Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Malta, Italy and France. After establishing himself as an effective nightclub DJ,Joe began to appear on Italian radio and also became involved in music production. It was during 1996 when his first production ” No Time” with vocals by Matt wood,was completed New York music label Groovin Records. He then teamed up with Tony Maione and developed original productions and remixes for Catch the vinyl (New York), Dino& Terry, Paul Simpson, Michael Proctor and Irma Records. Continuing in his role as a music industry professional, Joe worked for Flying Records/UMM (Italy) from 1992 to 1996 as an Export Manager . He also worked for House Tracks (Italy) as the Import Buyer and in Sales from 1996 to 1999 . Another role within the music industry that Joe played was working in New York City from 1999 to 2001 for Turning Point L.T.D. as a record label promoter with focus on promoting independent House music oriented record labels for licensing and record pool involvement. At present, Joe is dedicated to Djing and the development of Catch the Vinyl , along with partner Tony Maione. thru their Allas, Connected Funk ,Joe and Tony Strive to produce high quality house and Soulful music for distribution thru Catch the Vinyl, which is positioned as a American Record label with it’s primary recording studio located in Naples Italy.In 2003 Joe Performs for a few Times In Union square Ball Lounge on side with Maron D, In 2005 Joe continues to perform in Portugal in Lisbon In Cafe Del Mare and then 2005 Joe Performs In Dominican Republic as the Closing Dj Guest for The biggest Carnival venue In La   with Over hundreds of thousands of people In The Broncos Cueva , and Los Bufones .In 2009 Joe was resident DJ at a Known Club In New Brunswick Performing once a Month in Perle’ , Meanwhile Joe Continues to collaborate with Many Radios as a Dj Guest in different Countries , Like UDM Show Switzerland, Tendenzia In Italy and Many More as guest with his Dj sets.In 2007 Joe has been Called to Be a Guest for The Udm Shows New Years Eve Bash In Basel as a The DJ Guest , he continued to strive in many More events as Portugal Italy in 2014 as a Guest for an Opening New Club In Italy as The Capacity of 3000 people sited In Naples. Joe has done in 2016 has done a    track on Virginia Quesada Chimbala on Union Records with Peppe Citarella , In 2017 Joe has dona another remix also on Union records with Jose Burgos and Jarelle Battle. Meanwhile Joe   is one of the Cofounders of Bass Body And Soul  Radio  with Jose Burgos since 2017.  In the Last 3 years Joe not only performed worldwide in many venues he has also performed in Many venues with Jose Burgos, Freanke Estevez, David Tobon and many More .  Joe Cites the following producers and vocalists as being major sources of inspiration: Masters at work(Kenny Dope Gonzalez & Little Louie Vega),Jay Jay Hernandez,David Harness,Dennis Ferrer,John Cutler, Mr.V, matthias Heilbronn, Jose Burgos,Michelle Weeks,Jocelyn Brown,kenny Bobien, SuSu Bobien,Colonel Abrams,Frank roger,and many many more.
